A conversation with Guillean Arradaza

We recently had a chance to sit down and chat with Bay Area Real Estate Agent Guillean Arradaza.

Q: It’s an honor to speak with you today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

Hi my name is Guillean Arradaza, I’ve been in the Real Estate Business since 2017. I’ve also co-founded Kinetic Real Estate with Kevin Cruz. In the past few years I’ve helped our team grow from just 2 agents, to 10, to 50, and now going on to 100. I’m service driven and I love to help out families achieve their real estate goals. Serving the community through home ownership, coaching new agents to do the same and empowering women to be fearless in their careers is my top priority.

Q: Why did you decide to follow a career in real estate?

Giving back to my family and being able to support them is one of the many things that motivate me. Real Estate seemed like the best way to do so.

Q: As a real estate professional, what is one of the challenges you face in the industry? How do you overcome them?

I learned that this profession isn’t for the faint of heart and it’s not exactly what you see on reality shows like Selling Sunset, it is definitely hard work and determination. Always being prepared is what usually gets me through any challenges I face. What’s common is finding ways to always be available for any client appointments, staying on top of a Realtor’s hectic schedule, and navigating the changing market requires organization and research. Over the years I’ve developed systems and utilized various tools to make sure the business runs smoothly.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your day-to-day job?

Being able to share my knowledge in the business. Guiding my clients to the right path, getting them introduced to the right people and coaching agents as well. Nothing beats being able to teach, and also learn from the industry itself.

Q: Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

Work is nonstop. You grind everyday to get yourself where you need to go. But it’s not always about closing transactions, scheduling appointments, or even selling properties. A lot of the work starts from within the Team, it starts with ourselves, the agents. We stack up the knowledge by continuously researching about the market, practicing our scripts, preparing our presentations, meeting up with coaches and mentors. As realtors, we never stop learning, improving, and developing systems, tweaking processes to make the business run smooth.

Q: What career goals do you have for the next five years? What’s next for you?

I see myself helping other agents, as a Real Estate Coach. I know that’s what’s next for me. I’ve been building up the foundation lately, and that’s where I see myself in the next five years.

Q: What’s a myth about real estate?

There’s plenty of time for approval when you find the right house. A person waiting to get a loan approval until letter he/she finds a home that they want to make an offer on puts them in a disadvantage especially in a competitive market, but the truth is most offers will not be accepted without a lender approval letter. A person that already has an approval letter in hand will be in a better position to move quickly with success.

Q: Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more.

They can connect with me through calendly.com/letgguideyou or through my socials: Instagram.com/guilleanaa/ (@guilleanaa)
